Wardie’s Vision Statement for Work with young people

Our aim is to provide opportunities for young people to meet up with others and to have fun with the clear purpose of fostering their personal, social and spiritual development through engagement with the person and teaching of Jesus Christ . It is our hope that this will lead to a lifetime of Christian discipleship.

As young people move from early childhood into teenage years and beyond we recognise that they have many demands placed upon them and many competing offers of wisdom and guidance as to how to live life. We seek to provide a welcoming, non-judgemental and safe place for young people to explore issues of faith, life, ethos and morality. We also hope to offer fun activities!

We try encourage all our young people to become involved in the life, worship and service of the congregation. This means a whole host of things and as you follow the links from this page you can discover more about the range of opportunities available.
