Wardie Walkers
Wardie Walkers is an informal group who meet on a weekday once a month. We have walks of different lengths, with a variety of leaders, sometimes including a visit such as a historical point of interest. We often stop off at a teashop. A great chance to get to know people. Most walks start at the Clark Road cycle path entrance at 10am. We may set off direct from there on foot or by car share, bus or train to the starting point of our walk. Information about walks are generally included in the Wardie Church weekly newsletter a week or two ahead of the outings.
Walks in 2023 included the Trinity Walkways, Abercorn & Blackness, Innocent Railway, Bo’ness to the Kinneil Estate, Pressmennan Wood, East Linton and the Forth Bridges Trail.
